Wilson & Pamela MaungoDear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, thank you all for your constant prayers and support toward the work of God in East Africa and  Independent Gospel Bible Institute in Bungoma, Kenya. It is committed supporters like you who make things happen. Brethren, there is no better way we can serve God and have a strong and sound church than when our leaders attend the Bible school to be taught the truth of the Word of God. We have tested this and found out that we need our people in leadership roles to be trained in the things of God. Pastors and workers at schoolThe Bible says "...ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (Jn. 8:32) The best way our people can know the truth is from being in the Bible school. However, we find this challenging because many of the people who need training can't afford even the little fees we ask for their being in the Bible School for a week. Many people seriously want to come and be taught. I now pose this as a challenge to you; lift this serious and urgent need before the Lord. For one week each pastor needs thirty dollars for food and transportation. The school will appreciate your prayers and support.

Leadership training at schoolPraises:

  • Many people have applied to study the Word of God, showing desire for the Word of God.
  • The students who come are doing well in their class work.
  • We have seen so many changes in the lives of our pastors, and even reports from their churches are very encouraging.

Prayers requests:

  • Pray that God will continue to kindle in the church leaders the desire to study the Word of God.
  • Pray that many Bible School needs will be met.
  • Pray that we shall be able to set up centers in Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi to reach many with the teaching of the Word of God.

Needs:

  • Sponsorship for pastors' Bible school fees - $30 US/pastor.
  • Construction of Kitchen and Dining Hall.
  • Photocopier Machine.
  • Funds to install electricity in the Bible School.
  • Funds to put up water tank at the Bible School.
  • Maintenance funds for the Bible school (Put a fence around the school land and secure the Land Title Deeds).
