UPDATE - Charlie & Marlene Payne, IGM Specialized Ministries 11/20/09

Thank you so much for the tremendous interest and support shown to us so far as we begin our endeavor to raise $5,000 US to cover the expense of our upcoming mission trip to India and Africa.
                                    
Charlie spoke with IGM Director Dr. Gary Newhart on November 6, and here is the short version of our itinerary. The first half of March, we will be in India. Charlie will have the privilege of singing and preaching in the Evangelistic meetings scheduled there. The rest of the month we will be in Kenya and several other African countries. We can break the trip down financially into two segments: $2,500 will cover the 22-hour flight to India, as well as food and lodging. The other $2,500 is for Africa, which is a shorter flight from India, but the taxes and fees that Kenya adds make up for the shorter flight.  

I know from my previous mission trips that we in America don’t realize “how easy we have it.” We take so many things for granted. Some of us even take Satan for granted, and think he is less powerful now than when Jesus was here. The truth is Satan is alive and knows his time on Earth is short! Dr. Newhart was telling of some demonic activities that are weighing heavily on the National Pastors and their churches in India. We encourage you to start praying now that God will strengthen all of us spiritually, because that’s where our battles are won or lost; in the spiritual world. Eph 6:10-18
