UPDATE - Athem & Indu Chothe, National Church Planter, Siliguri, India 8/30/10

Praise the Lord; by His grace, Indu has delivered  a baby girl, Joanna (meaning Grace or the gift of the Lord) at 8.30 a.m. on August 23, at Heritage Hospital, Siliguri, by normal delivery. She weighed 2.8 kg (6 lb, 3 oz). We are being blessed by her presence. She looks very mature and in good health. We are very happy and thankful to the Lord for this gift.

At present a severe viral fever and flu is going on here in Siliguri. My older children, Grace and Reng, have been sick since August 22 and yesterday, my wife also came down with high fever and deep cough. Jaireen, our Asst. Pastor Bimal's daughter, is also very sick. This is a seasonal sickness; please pray that all these dear ones will be healed and pray for the Lord's protection upon our 6 day old daughter, Joanna, from all these sicknesses.
