"During my mission trip to the US in 2007, I had the privilege of meeting with missionaries from different parts of the globe. It has broadened my vision and I started reflecting on my ministry here. My interaction with our brothers and sisters in Christ who were representing other countries enlightened my understanding on missions and ministry as a whole. I take this opportunity to thank everyone who opened their doors for me with love. It has given me a home away from home. I trust that you all have received your returns from the Lord for all that you have done because of Him. I assure you of my earnest prayer support for each one of you, along with my family, church, and ministry.
I reached home safely by the grace of God. After I returned home, I got busy and caught up with the ministry in India. It has been a busy time with churches at the end of the year 2007. Fasting and prayer meetings in the churches night after night kept me busy during the past three months.
I want to share with you that God has helped us to renovate one of our churches. The congregation used to sit on uneven floor inside the church and worship the Lord. This has been our prayer point for years. After I returned home, we renovated the floor and made it straight. This is facilitating the congregation to worship the Lord. This took $1,500 US to get the work done. We thank each one of you who gave generously to this great basic need."
Challenges for Prayer:
- During my mission trip, I have shared my vision for God's work that motivates me to go further;
- A four-wheeler vehicle for me as the ministry is growing bigger and it has been difficult for me to move from place to place;
- A Christian Library and Reading Room that will enable literates to read and grow in the Lord;
- A Literature distribution center;
- A Adult Literacy School for Bible reading to teach illiterate men and women in the churches to read the Bible. (A project for the next three to five years);
- The church planting ministry that reaches the un-reached areas in India.
