Peter NIlson

Baptist Faith Missions Fellowship, Kenya

Peter Simiyu Nilson joined IGM in 2009. He is currently attending Seminary in the US. After graduation, he will return to Kenya to work with IGM Partner Pastor Wilson Maungo and his team of national pastors.Pastor Maungo's Baptist Faith Mission is involved in evangelism, church planting, pastoral training, orphan work and Christian schooling in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and the DRC. Peter is the brother of Pastor Anthony Simiyu Juma.

The Lord led me to study His Word; to be equipped,  prepared and trained in order to be more effective in the service of the Gospel, and to rightly divide the Word of truth. Currently, I am going to school at Tabernacle Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Virginia Beach, VA. It is my desire to see the pastors leading Bible-believing local churches in Kenya and other parts of Africa trained to correctly handle the holy things of God's Word, and able to share that Word more effectively through the preaching of the true Gospel to thirsting souls in Africa.

Ministry Goals:

• To reach many souls for Christ
• To labor for the progress of the Gospel
• To train faithful men and women in the Lord
• To equip more with the Word of truth  

Post-Graduate position in Kenya—

• Bible Institute teacher / administrator
• Work with the youth ministry
• Pastoral work
• Planting new Bible-believing local churches.
