Steven & Milicent Malm

Steven & Milicent Malm joined IGM in 1984. Pastor Malm is a national church planter from Ghana, a West African nation with almost 19 million people.

As a teenager, about thirty-seven years ago, Steven was invited to a friend’s church.  After two visits the Lord revealed to him that he was living a life without hope and he was hell-bound.  The preacher led him to view the scary scenes of hell for people without Christ. At the close of the sermon, he surrendered his life to the Lord, and has never regretted it.  God continues to be faithful to him.

The Malm's ministry includes a nationwide Bible correspondence program, church-planting and pastoring.  Presently, he is pastor of three churches. Another area of the ministry focuses on the young people of Accra, many of whom are selling their bodies for about $5 a day, and receiving in return HIV / AIDS.  Pastor Malm has an ongoing vocational school training ministry working with these young people. Many have become born-again Christians and are now serving in the church.

Pastor Malm needs funds for the churches, projects, and support.  James 2:26 is his favorite Bible verse, “For as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
