Julius Kadenge familyJulius and Lydia Kadenge have been with IGM since August 2003.  Julius accepted the Lord as his Savior in 1993. Pastor Kadenge pastors several churches in the Mombasa coastal area, including Kahingoni Baptist Faith Church, Kibarani Grace Baptist Church and Kilifi Baptist Church. He spends much of his time working with his tribe, the Giriamas. The Giriama tribe, an unreached people group, is made up mostly of animistic religions, which include the worship of ancestral spirits and the religion of Islam. Pastor Julius preaches from house to house, gives counseling and guidance to school children, and teaches Biblically based HIV/AIDS prevention.  He helps AID victims buy food and helps the poor parents with school uniforms.  They need a vehicle so they can help and reach more people for the Lord.  They need your prayer and financial support.

Being of the Same Mind

I am well pleased to write to you and all the partners who take time to pray for me and my ministry .Life in Kenya is not smooth at all. We have many political problems in the country. Many have died and many have lost property through burning and destruction. Prayer is urgently needed for God to redeem this country from its political hazard. I thank the Lord for all that is happening and I believe this will prompt many people to pray to the Lord to bring peace and political stability in Kenya. My home area has not been attacked but I am in great sorrow with the sorrowful.

We fast twice a month, usually from Friday night to Sunday morning. We list the needs we have and then pray to the Lord. This has been encouraging as we see the Lord working. The other Fridays and Saturdays, we visit our church members. This has helped increase the number of women in our church.

Praises:

  1. Praise the Lord Jesus for strong believers;
  2. Praise the Lord Jesus for good health
  3. Praise Him for the Soul Winning Team.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Pray for more of the Lord’s workers;
  2. Pray for my support to increase;
  3. Pray for more converts;
  4. Pray for the orphans.

“Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.” – Romans 12:15-16
