Visakha Bible College

Rev. Jacob Gaddala came to know the Lord on June 3, 1993, and graduated in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. After completing his studies, he worked for four years as a Civil Engineer and had his own business of building contruction.

In 2001 God spoke to him through the book of Ezra 7:10 and he made a commitment to go for the full-time ministry. His father disowned him and he came out of the house with $50 in hand, trusting God by faith for his needs and started his ministry among the University students in Visakhapatnam, India.

In 2002, God brought Prashanti Florida, the first among the four daughters of Dr. Chatla Devasahayam, into Jacob's life, and they were united in marriage on August 1, 2002. Prashanti came to know the Lord at the age of 15 and then committed her life to the Lord seeing the example of her committed parents who are missionaries in India. She dedicated her life to serve God and pursued theological studies. She did her Bachelor of Divinity from Bharat Bible College, Hyderabad. 

Together they served the Lord for five years among the University students and the Lord blessed them with two sons, Manuel and Abiel.

In January, 2006, God brought Jacob to Piedmont Baptist College to pursue his Masters in Arts in Biblical Studies. He completed His Masters with GPA of 3.7 and now is completing  his PhD, which will allow him to start a Bible School to train Nationals in India. National church planters are the only way to reach the 1.2 billion people of India, since the doors are closed for foreign missionaries. His vision is to go back in 2012 to start his ministry in Visakhapatnam in the land which was provided miraculously by God in January, 2009. The Lord provided $33,000 in less than two months and the land is now registered in the name of the Visakha Trust.

VISION

• To evangelize college and University students and nurture them as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ that they may serve the Church and Society.
• To reach communities through Church Planting
• To start a Bible School to train Nationals
• Our method is Bible study on college campus and outside campus
• Our ministry is through singing and preaching of the Word of God

1. We want to build the church which can accomodate 200 people and a Bible college for 30 graduate students.
