Medeus and Belin Edwige joined IGM in 2000. Pastor Edwige was the pastor of the Primitive Church by the Faith in Port-au-Prince, and started new church plants in Anse-à-Beau and Gonaives. He cared for the three churches and an orphan ministry for many years. He was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in 2008. At that time his prognosis was for 6 months or less, but by God's grace, he continued his ministries until April, 2010, at which time he asked IGM for permission to end his orphan ministry. He was promoted to Glory on June 9, 2010. His final concern was for his churches and his family. Belin is now on the island of Grand Turk, where she holds a job. The Edwige's 3 children remain in the family home in Port-au-Prince. Please pray for the family's continuing needs.
