Eben-Ezer Baptist Bible Institute

Eben-Ezer Baptist Bible Institute was founded in 1968 by Edward Abbott, Missionary to Mexico. The Abbotts' son-in-law, Andres Franco, is now the director of the Institute. Eben-Ezer Institute provides Baptist-oriented Biblical college training free of charge to poor Mexican students, training and preparing them for full-time ministry in Mexico. Over the years, 127 have graduated and are serving Christ. While all the students do something to “help meet the needs” it takes much more to cover the building, grounds and overhead. All faculty members are well-trained, but under-supported Mexican nationals. Most of the support going to the Institute is used for food and basic supplies for the students and staff.
