Vision2020Asia Myanmar Disaster Relief - Wednesday, May 14, 2008Please pray and give to the people of Myanmar hit by the devastating cyclone of May 3rd. We would like to request that all Pastors appeal to their people to help these dear people in Myanmar. We urge you to do what you can to help in this critical and worsening situation. We urge every church to take up at least one special offering to help with this urgent need. God could use this in a powerful way if we Christians step up to the plate and help. The longer we delay, the more that will die from hunger and disease. The death and destruction I have seen through photo's is heart breaking. All gifts should be sent into Independent Gospel Missions, 990 Calkins Road, Rochester, NY 14623. Please designate the funds for "Vision2020Asia Myanmar Disaster Relief".
Our National Church Planter in Myanmar, Go Lian Pau and family, are safe; but many of our other brethren have been affected greatly by the devastation. If you have any questions you may contact me by email – vsn2020asia@aol.com. I expect to be in India the last two weeks of May and I plan to attempt to get a visa from our consulate in India to visit Myanmar. Please pray.
