It is a belt that extends from West Africa across Asia, between 10 degrees north to 40 degrees north of the equator. If we are serious about providing a valid opportunity for every people and city to experience the love, truth, and saving power of Jesus Christ, we cannot ignore the reality that we must concentrate on this region of the world which could be termed "the 10/40 Window."

• 8 out of 10 of the poorest of the poor live in this area.
• 8 out of 10 of the people living here have the lowest quality of life (life expectancy, infant mortality, and literacy)
• This area is a stronghold of Satan.
